WEDDING PARTY ACCOMMODATION WITH CEREMONY AND OR RECEPTION 


If your planning on holding your wedding or reception on our beautiful grounds, we require that you book the whole retreat for the night before and the night of your event. This is to allow us to clean from previous guests and to provide you with time to prepare for your event and to ensure privacy.

In addition to accommodation costs, we offer grounds hire on the day of your event/ceremony and/or reception for the following costs. If your event is limited to guests staying at the accommodation, we charge $200 for grounds use. If you have guests visiting for your event but not staying at the property, the following ground hire fees apply: $500 for up to 30 attending guests and $700 for up to 50 attending guests. We are unable to accommodate more than a total of 50 people at the property. This is to ensure that we can maintain the pristine natural environment that the Fernglen Forest Retreat offers. 

Please note also that guests are required to leave the grounds in the same condition they found it and all rubbish is to be removed.

It is possible to check the exact prices and available dates for the accommodation via our website. Booking on our site is easy and the most economical option. Under 'book' enter your intended dates and the number of staying guests (noting that we require you to book the night preceding you event as well) - if it's available on your dates the whole retreat will come up with your price. The price for the whole retreat includes all 5 cottages. 

Once you are happy with our price or quote we can hold the booking with a 10% deposit.


WEDDING PARTY ACCOMMODATION WITH CEREMONY AND OR RECEPTION BOOKED ELSEWHERE

Should you only require accommodation as you are interested in another wedding venue, The Fernglen Forest Retreat is located only 700 meters from Tatra wedding receptions and is also within a short drive to other wedding venues such as Sky-high, Poets Lane, Lyrebird Falls, Nathania Springs, and Mist to name a few. This makes our accommodation perfect for wedding parties.

The price for the whole retreat is for all five child & pet friendly, self-contained cottages. All cottages have car parking, fireplaces, high speed internet, TV with streaming services, a kitchen, a coffee machine, teas, bathrooms (2 cottages have indoor spa baths and another has an outdoor Jacuzzi) and outdoor areas with BBQs. We can accommodate larger groups of 20 people in beds, and up to 12 additional guests with trundle and sofa bed options


VIEWINGS

You are most welcome to come and see our beautiful forest retreat. The best time is between 11am and 2pm weekdays, whilst cleaning is in progress. These times offer the best opportunity to view inside the cottages if they are vacant. Please call me on 0433424181 to arrange a viewing time.

FOOD AND CATERING

If you are after catering during your stay, we have the privilege of partnering up with Queenie and Mavis, caterers. Queenie and Mavis offer spreads for larger groups, events and functions. They also offer a range of both delicious savoury and sweet grazing boxes, as well as breakfast boxes, all ranging in size, as well as specific dietary requirements and delivered straight to your door before arrival.

ON SITE SAUNA

We provide an onsite sauna with an outdoor shower and bath, all set within a lovely private bush setting of forest views for additional hire.


ON SITE MASSAGE

Indulge yourself with an in-house massage, facial or body treatment provided by Balance Mountain Day Spa Olinda (speak with Nadine).

To book, please give the address and the name of the cottage you are staying at and allow a minimum of 2 days’ notice 




PETS

At the Fernglen Forest Retreat we welcome pets. Please be aware that Fernglen Forest Reserve is a sensitive wildlife area. Pets are to be restrained at all times to protect the environment. Please bring your own pet beds, bowls and all other requirements and keep pets off furniture. Should pets cause damage within the accommodation or on the property the security deposit will be retained to cover costs. Thank you for your co operation. Check-in time is 3pm and checkout is 10am.

All cottages offer parking for at least one car. We can comfortably park 8 cars on the property and more if parked in tandem.
